Pretty day in the Dena. Convinced everything turns to magic when it rains. SJ~ remember sitting in the rivers (gutters) and singing (making up dances) in the rain!? Need that photo of us barefoot carrying Sooz (who suffered from an umbrella fetish, if I remember correctly…). Agh. I just walked to the 99cent Store. Good times.

Okay, after you guys left… We attended the ghetto version of Black Friday with Grams & Mom. Seriously, the line in Salvation Army was out the door. Every time they piled more items in our overflowing cart, D sing-songed, “M i s t a k e s, m i s t a k e s .” !!! That kid. Gets me everytime!
Luckily, T (courtesy new d-license) rescued us in my car.

that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.”
- Khalil Gibran
every blue moon:: [or is it once//month?]
she gets grey like sophie:: forgets she is young.
forgets she's able-bodied:: with breath, blood, with Light.
like her fire-demon burning:: went blue//cold, shrunk//shy.
like her sunlight [once dawned] is melted:: she's left out to dry.
like something has shifted:: something has died.
so, she sits stiff and nesting:: hollowing her heart.
emptied out and blackened:: awaiting new night, sky, start.
